Weekend in Wisco!

This weekend I plan to check out the nifty, local events listed below; however, do yourself a favor & check out www.VisitWalworthCounty.com yourself! There are so many things going on!

There are 2 open houses on Saturday, and 1 on Sunday, but otherwise here’s what I’ll be up to:

• A rare moon on Friday the 13^th…how fitting. Look up at the sky tomorrow night, and you’ll see the Micro Moon, where the moon is at its furthest point away from earth in its orbit…
• I cannot wait to go to my friend’s 1^st studio sale! Halloween Flash Art will be up for purchase from Friday the 13^th until October 31^st. We’re talkin’ about a real artist here folks, go see for yourself; stop by Hayli York Tattoo Studio on Main Street in the Village of Walworth! (follow link for hours of operation)
• A definite MUST this weekend is the 19^th annual SCARECROW FEST in my beloved hometown of Delavan, on Sat., Sept., 14^th. It has grown so much! Follow the link to see all there is to do, but these are my top picks:
  • Petting Zoo, Craft & Vendor Fair, Sidewalk Sales, Food Trucks & Vendors, Scarecrow Building, Pumpkin Carving + Walldogs Mural Tour
• This is a new one for me: Wisefest at the Walworth Co Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, Sat., Sept. 14^th. Who doesn’t love live music and yummy food?
• Mark your calendar: The Geneva Lakes Antique & Classic Boat Show returns to the Abbey Resort, in Fontana, in a couple weeks (Friday, September 27^th – Sunday, September 29^th)!
